i have feelings for this guy.. he still has feelings for his ex and they speak on the phone often. shes 1100 miles away,,we've been living/sleeping together and he says he cares for me. ive been pushing for a commitment and it has caused fights, now he moved into the other bedroom. ive decided to back off,,,,but is there anything else i can do to make this situation better? its hard,,,he doesnt drive and i have to spend alot of time with him to take him places etc...i did go away for the weekend to give us space and he called me and asked me to come home,,i didnt,,,was that wrong? hes still in the other bedroom

It almost sounds like he's using you for a hotel and taxi. Tell him that either he loves you and wants to be with ONLY you, or if he doesn't want a commitment, then you're done wasting your life on him. Time to find someone who is really on the same page as you. This guy most definetly isn't.

ask him straight out what he wants
from you. He seems like hes keeping you as a back-up in case him and his ex are getting back together. wait for a while and if that doenst work
just find a guy that would love to have a commitment.

This is gonna sound slightly harsh, but that guy sounds like an absolute loser. He doesn't drive, he talks to his ex all the time, and he sleeps with you and lives with you but "doesn't want a commitment?" LOSER. And you're foolish to keep him around.

Seriously, there is little you can do to make it better, unless you just want to come straight out and ask him what is the deal. What he is looking for out of this. It wasn't wrong for you not to come home when he asked it shows your strong willed.

Well try to live your own life. Dont make your plans around him. NO its not wrong unless he is yur man. If he is just your F-buddy just live your life like your single. Start to bring other guys around and i bet he will come around to wanting to be with you. Try to find a man with a car though

whats the point of being with someone if he doesn't truly care for you. he should talk about this problems not just move into the other room.
but maybe i was too hasty before don't dump him yet just talk to him. that's the only way it will work

you did the right thing you need to let him work out his issues about this girl because if she is to come back you will be hurt because he will try to get back with her and only you will be hurt let him know you are there but if he isnt sure what to do between choosing you or her tell lhim you want to be friends until he knows.
