If u like ur hair to be straight & silky, there are a few professional brand name stuff that will help u with that. You can use 'graham web's shampoo & conditioner. Alterna have a very good one but it is a little expensive. You can use the "redken smoothdown' It is nice because it makes it smooth, silky & it is good for straight hair. It is also not that expensive. For styling your hair for occassions you can curl all ur hair, half up & half down, curl the ends only, or do updo's. Make sure u do some back combing like celebrities so it looks like it got volume w/out making ur head look so flat. Good luck.
