LM258 and LM358 by Texas Instruments are good allrounders.
Don't know about Radio Shack....(not my favorite shop), but these guys have it: http://www.digikey.com/DigiKeySearch.html

741s can be purchased at Radioshack. They're in the back. They're actually kinda old and are not used in new electronics, they're only still around as a learning tool. If you're interested in newer devices, I've attached a link to the Texas Instruments website.
