i dont buy any meat or eggs. i have my own chickens for that.. but i dont raise any beef and i fill my freezer with deer meat. i hate the thought of an animal being raized just to die. i was woundering what the nutrishial values in deer was?

128 calories
2g fat
67mg Cholesterol
26g Protein

If you want to know the nutritional value of something, they probably have it. It is a cool site as you can enter amounts of several ingredients and see how many calories per serving the recipe has.

If you researched that, I believe you'd find that the protein would be about the same. The fat would be less. Beef cows raised for their meat are feed things that will hurry things along getting them to market sooner.
