Hi I have just bought a TV from Japan and i want to use it in England how do I get the sound in English?

I'm not sure on your ariel connection but if it's the same as the japanese it will have three sockets. One red, one white and one yellow. The white and yellow control the picture and sound. The red gives you surround sound. If you are only plugging into one socket you will only get either the sound or picture and not both at the same time. You need a special ariel for this so check you local electrical store.

umm, your TV plays sounds in Japanese ? TVs are generic (besides the voltage and power outlet connector) ...

Check the manual. If it's written in Japanese, find someone who can read it.
