I am worried that by only trying on a few I might be limiting myself! Wedding isn't until Dec. of 07. But I had dreams about that one I loved so much all night, anyone found a dress that early before?

I fell in love with the fourth dress I tried on and never regreted it. It is up to you. You have plenty of time. Make sure that the dress you love can be ordered or you can put a refundable deposit on it. Keep looking. You may find one you love even more. If not, you have the other dress. CONGRATS!!

SAME Exact thing happened to me... I did a speed shopping.... and went to try all all these dress before the sale was up. I found a dress at David's bridal, that was an old one, actually designed by Olega himself- it was half off and they only had one in MY size!! I quickly realized during my speed shopping that if I didn't get that dress then I was going to be sorry because I could get as nice of a dress for $600!!
My suggestion is, if the dress is not on sale or will be there for a little bit, then go try and find other dresses.... If you still keep thinking about that ONE dress, then it's the dress!! Go for it!!
Then just stop looking so you don't upset yourself.

And by the way, there is NO refundable deposit for wedding dresses- that's the whole point of a deposit.

I wouldn't. When you've found the right dress, you just know.

I bought mine in Aug. 06--I'm not getting married until July 07, but it was such a great deal (they were discontinuing that particular dress AND having a sale AND it was a sales-tax-free weekend) that I couldn't pass it up.

Don't worry about limiting yourself--if you're dreaming about it, then it's the right dress. Most bridal stores have big nice bags that you can store and protect your dress in until your wedding. If not, go to http://www.davidsbridal.com That's where I got my dress, and they sell good thick bags for $10 each.

Why keep looking if you found the one that you love? Trust me when you find the perfect dress you know it. Consider yourself lucky it only took you 3 dresses. I wish I had been in your shoes. It took me about 100+ dresses because I just never found the perfect one. I finally ened up getting a beautiful dress, but that's the all it was was a beautiful dress. I wanted to find that perfect dress and never did.

I only tried on 3 before i found the one, and once i did i couldn't look at any others. I got engaged in dec found a dress in june and i wasn't getting married until the following june, so i found mine a year in advance. Its like your finace you know he is the one so you are not going to look for anyone else. Go for it. it will be perfect.

Stop looking.

You will compare every dress to that one. The importance of trying on dresses is to find the one you fall in love with so you are lucky!

My bestfriend went to one store and found the dress during her first fittings. She bought it, loved it and it was the most beautiful dress for her.

yes the same thing happened to me. I bought the dress and continued to look. I am very glad that I bought the dress as I didn't find another one I liked nearly as well. I wouldn't continue to look, if you don't buy it you may be disappointed with the dress that you end up getting because you can't find another one.

No if you absolutly love it you'll not find one that you want. I personally knew what kind of dress I wanted and bought the first one I tried on and never thought about it agian I knew it was what i wanted and any other dress would not of worked. Congrats and good luck (i was just married in september)

It's going to take a while to find the perfect shoes to go with that perfect dress. And then there are the bridesmaid outfits... Of course from HIS point of view, the dress is not the perfect feature of your outfit, you are. And maybe you're not in love with the dress as much as just love getting married?
