I have a new job and I was just invited to a Halloween Party on Saturday..It is all adults and this is a professional place or owrk.. I dont want to look like an IDIOT ...and dont want to be something boring..WHAT CAN I BE FOR HALLOWEEN??? PLEASE HELP ME

If you want to really be daring and creative...let me share what a friend did at a Church Costume party...he was the hit of the party.
First he showed up in a business suit and simply mingled amongst the guests until the party was at its peak. Then he disappeared...to change.
When he came out, he was wearing a box around his private parts. On the bax was a black strip painted with the letters in white CENSORED...he then ran from one end of the party to the other...oh ya, he had his socks and sneakers on.
It was hilarious!!! There was no real nudity, but he did go as a streaker, already censored.
So there you go, dress up as a censored streaker and run through the party at just the right time!!! If you want, get some friends to dress up as English Cops and have them chase you down!!!
They would talk about that costume forever!!!

Been in that same situation before. I tried not too wear something too revealing because a lot of costumes these days are. So, I decided a black cat. Ended up being way cute! A lot of people were really cute witches or fairies too. It's all up to you though. Go look around soon though a lot of places are running out of them. Or order on line with express delivery.

im going to one on saturday too. me and my boyfriend are thinkin of goin as a doctor and a nurse, but bloodied up a bit, maybe ripped clothes and bloody handprints. the outfit was 20 quid, and u can get fake blood for pennies so doesnt stretch the budget too much.
try and avoid generic sh*t like devils, ghosts, fairies etc boring boring BORING!!
the great thing about halloween is that u can pretty much go as ANYTHING so jus try and be a bit creative...
mayb see u on saturday lol....

if you have the money go to a costume store and rent a costume that way you can look around and try things on and know what looks good and still maintain the professional decorum you want the sales people there can help you choose have fun

it all depends on the atmospher, if its laid back you could be a sexy corrections officer or a kitty or something, if its more conservite you could be like a tourist or a hippi but it depends on the type of people youll be around. good luck and have a blast either way.
