How should i set my computer to shut down automatically after compleing the downloads. I use firefox as my browser and windows xp. plz help if you can.

You will need a download manager like FDM (Free Download Manager) which can shutdown the PC after downloading has finished. You can also download a program "Auto Shutdown" which can shutdown the PC at a desired time.

Actually u need an a software that help u to shuttdown ur PC at the time u given to it.
and Switch off software lets u all the facility, and it can force other programs to shutt it off that r running in ur pc and u didnt know it.
so it is very helpful. try it or let me know if didnt find it i will send it to u.

well you can do that with a batch file.

write a script.. to monitor the download manager.
like if you are using limewire it gives you an option to exit after downloads. so if you put a script to monitor your download manager.. from time to time.. it will .. and shut down.. if your download manager exit.. that is the way.. batch files work with all windows system..
