If you're going the easy route with the canned pie filling, might as well go all the way easy and get the premade refrigerated pastry for a 2-crust pie.
All you do is place bottom crust in pie pan, pour in your filling, then top with other pastry. Make a few slits in top crust. Bake 400 until top is golden brown and insides are bubbly. You can take out a little before done and sprinkle a little cinnamon and sugar on top and then finish baking.
Good luck and save me some!
Blessed be

Should be a recipe on the back of the can..You just need a 2 crust pie crust (bottom and top), and a can of apple pie filling..but in case i forgot something here is a recipe for ya:
INGREDIENTS
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup water
2/3 cup shortening
1 egg
1 (21 ounce) can apple pie filling
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
In a medium mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well, then add water, shortening, and egg. Mix on low speed until ingredients are combined, then beat on medium speed 2 minutes. Spread into pie pan.
In a medium bowl mix together pie filling, lemon juice, and apple pie spice. Spread over crust; do not stir.
Bake in preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, until crust is browned.

Here's a suggestion
Spread 1 can of Apple pie filling ( or any fruit filling) into a baking dish; sprinkle 1 box of yellow cake mix over the top; a little cinnamon; a few pads of butter on the top and bake according to cake box directions until set and browned. Quick, easy and yummy.

If you're using a pre-made pie crust, follow the instructions on the package. I believe you bake the bottom portion first then fill and put on top crust. Be sure you place a layer of tinfoil over the edge of the crust as that will brown and then burn quickly. All your really looking to do if you're using canned apple filling is heat the filling through and bake the crust. Hope that helps!

the convience of apple pie filling is that it's all done but the crust! I'd buy a frozen crust, pour it in, top with another crust, slit steam holes and bake according the pkg directions on the pie crusts. You can rub some margarine over the top of the pie crust, sprinkle with sugar if you want. Oh, and don't forget the vanilla ice cream to top each serving!

Why not peel and slice 2 cooking apples, cover them with a good sprinkling of sugar and a few drops of water? It's that easy to make a fresh pie. Bake for 30-40 mins depending how you like your pastry. OK? Enjoy with hot custard, fresh cream or ice cream.................mmmmmmmmm
Throw the tin of substandard pulp in the bin.

Just add it to your pie crust and cook.
Although I prefer making it from scratch, better taste IMO.
