being a emotional girl...when i start to like someone, i end up falling for them before they fall for me...this usually leads to me being the one gettin hurt...how do i control my feelings so i won't like the other person more than he likes me?

Just knowing that you behave this way in relationships will help you see things for what they are. Just use caution and try to move slowly. It's fun getting caught up in the beginnings of a romance, just don't get so carried away. Remember that in the long run, taking it slow is going to make it better and make it last.

Don't control your feelings. Let love be natural. If u control, even if the guy likes u, he might think u do not like him and gives up on u!!!
You are the sort of people who falls easily in love but it is not wrong. I'm sure everyone craves for love. Me too. I used to get frustrated because I'm too shy to approach the ones I liked for the fear of rejection. I controlled and hided my feelings. But in the end, I did not gain anything. I didn't really know whether the person I liked like me in return too. I didn't give in my best.
If you fall for someone, try getting to know them more. Let yourself be natural. Maybe you will end up realising you do not like the person as much as you think. Maybe you realise he is someone you want to have a deeper relationship with. If it does not turn out positive, be happy for the experience. Almost everyone has faced rejection before. Even myself. And everytime I fall from a bad experience, I pick myself up and learn from it. Now I'm in a happy and stable relationship.
Some people took longer time to find out that they llike someone and reprociate your feelings. Be yourself, be natural. Love like there's no tml! :)

You sound like a total sweetheart! Any guy would be lucky to have such a girlfriend. It's okay to FEEL that way but just don't show the intensity of your feelings right away. Guys sometimes take our 'enthusiasm' as TOO MUCH and back away. Just be your sweet self and charm him as I am sure you can do well. Just don't seem TOO interested right away so he doesn't misread your excitement for 'desperation.' Men are funny that way. Good luck! You deserve the BEST!!! Remember that!

there's nothing wrong with it you are your own person you have your own feelings. when you meet someone try and get to know them before you fall for them and its easier said than done i know. you also need to look at the kind of people you are falling for they may be the true reason for you getting hurt. Are you falling for the player or for a momma's boy or someone that is going to treat you with respect remember beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Well, why don't you let him make the first move towards you instead of you doing the same? if you give him a sort of eye look, but focus your attention on something else like hanging out with your girlfriends. Let him do the asking out and you be on the recieving end. that way, you can let the other person like you more because he's got to do the asking out.

Stop wearing your sleeves on your shoulders, and by not being a revolving door, or a door mat to get walked on, Be busy finding out how much he care first and if you don't put your feeling in it, you want get hurt, cause 9 out 10 relationship they don't work if you don't get cha feelings involve it won't hurt
