Is it possible that a cold could be a symptom of pregnancy? Sore throat, coughing up flem/mucas (sorry to be graphic), achey and tired. AF is due this Saturday, however, had slight brown spotting off and on since last Sunday. Any thoughts?

You could be preg...What I thought was the flu a few moths ago wasn't it was pregnancy If you feel like you maybe preg. tell your Dr. it can't hurt. My tests at the hospital came back neg. so they put me on antibiotics for what they thought was strep throat. 3 days later I found out I was pregnant. So good luck!

Well, it wouldn't hurt to ask your doctor to do a pregnancy test. If you're not prego that he can give you some antibiotics and get rid of the cold, but either way you'll find out if your prego. I was sick for the first 2-3 months I was pregnant. Since the baby is taking all your nutrients, it is harder to fight off colds and such. And I didn't find out about baby until then. So don't hesitate to go to Dr. and get you and the maybe-baby taken care of!

A slight stuffy nose is normal but it sounds like you have a cold.
