You are dehydrated and may have an infection. Try drinking lots of water to flush it through . If its suddenly changed or has a smell or burns/stings to it go to a doctor and ask for a urine test to be safe. Kidney problems can also produce pain in your groin or lower back. xx

It could mean a few things, for example, you may be dehydrated or perhaps have a urinary tract infection, the darkish brown colour may actually be blood in the urine, go to the Doctor and drink plenty of water in the meantime to flush your kidneys through. Don't leave it though, a UTI left to it's own devices could cause very serious health problems.

hmm.... some foods/drink can taint the colour of urine (red wine for one), though it depends if it's a one off or not, if it's happening alot then you need to see your doctor soon as!... putting it off isn't going to help things get better, the quicker you know what it is the sooer you can can get treated.

it maybe a simple as a urine tract infection... get some antibiotics and away to go, however they'll need to do more tests to make sure it's nothing serious.

Good luck, fingers crossed for you

Pink, red, or smoky brown urine can be a side effect of a medication or may be caused by the recent consumption of beets, blackberries or certain food colorings. It is also characteristic of a urinary tract disorder in which bleeding occurs such as cystitis, enlarged prostate, kidney cancer, bladder tumor, tuberculosis, bladder stones, kidney infection, Wilms' tumor (in children), or hypernephroma. Hemolytic anemia and porphyria can also cause urine to take on these colors. It may also occur after trauma to the kidneys or urinary tract.

It could mean you have hepatitis A, B, or C. Go to your doctor as soon as you can. The darkish brown color of the urine is a result of your liver being infected. Are you jaundiced looking? (Does your skin look yellow?) Anyway, you should get over to the doctor.

Abnormal coloration from bleeding within the urinary system is termed hematuria (blood in the urine), a symptom that needs medical attention. Dark orange to brown urine can be a symptom of jaundice or Gilbert's syndrome. "Melanuria" refers to black or dark-colored urine and may be caused by a melanoma. Porphyria may also change the color of urine to a reddish or brown.
Test your urine for routine analysis and contact the doctor with Lab report. Drink 15 glasses of water daily.

It means that you are dehydrated and you are drinking to many diuretics such as tea, coffee or alcohol. Your kidneys are kicking out loads of waste with your urine but little water which is making it the dark brown colour, I suspect it smells quite pungent and stronger than normal as well. What you need to do is drink plenty of water, just water not juice or Cola etc, just water. Its just your body trying to store water because it thinks there is a lack of water because you are dehydrated (due to drinking diuretics), therefore it keeps as much water as it can and just deposits the waste.

You're dehydrated. Stop drinking any alcoholic beverages if you are. Drink plenty of water throughout the day and this will clear up.
