I don't want to be dark skinned.... I am only very slightly tanned, and believe me I didn't sunbathe at all to try to get it! I am still fairly pale and I don't think there is a need to have darker skin,
White is so much more beautiful than having orange tanned skin like everyone else - you would just be another clone.
Tanned skin looks unhealthy and leathery. It's not nice. (I mean tanned skin that is obviously too dark, not a light sunkissed look, which is nice)

It's because people always want what they can't have (well not always but a lot of the time). I guess its in human nature that you can't just be ordinary you have to look different from your family or whatever. Personally I think people look better with their natural skin colour, hair colour and hair type most of the time. Otherwise you can end up looking a bit freakish.
Mind you I have wavy hair but I would love curly hair I think it looks pretty but anyways . . .

Only those with warped minds crave for such changes. Men seem to leg behind women on this one, particularly when it comes to hair. The only man who went through such a disgraceful transformation is Michael Jackson.
Such people are of the belief that being white can lead to a better life and many have lived to regret it. One should be proud of who they are and discard such myths as white supremacy from their minds.

Not sure about other white females, but I don't ever go outside in summer thinking I"ll get dark skinned. If it happens, so be it, but it's not the first thing that enters my head.

Because EVERYBODY thinks that there is room for improvement, I have naturally curly hair but when I was a teenager I had it straightened, yea god's what an abortion that was. We are not satisfied with what we have, and until we learn to be the add men will be trying to separate us and our money for the latest quick fix.

The "grass is greener on the other side", seems to be the mentality. We are all the same on the inside, so be happy with what you have and let the Thai be their wonderful selves.

I guess we crave what we don't have really..........and in some societies beauty is defined in a skewed fashion rather pathetic because we can't change our genetic make up. I have a dark skin and i cherish it.....makes life so much easier. ;-))))
