Follow up. I havent slept with the guy in a while. We were at a party and i was flirting with other guys ignoring him and he didnt like it at all,but he says that we are just friends. Im getting mixed emotions about the whole situation.If we were just friends then he wouldnt care.right

Well, he obviously cares about you, but looking at two perspectives, he may have been jealous and want more than friendship with you and just doesn't know how to say it or isn't particularly certain yet, OR... As a mere friend, he may just care about how you conduct yourself in public, especially at a party. Maybe he doesn't want to see you disrespecting yourself or as being "trashy" (not implying in any way that you are, but it might be that HE saw you that way). Maybe he just doesn't want to see you get yourself into trouble.

In a way yes your right, but he may care about you as a friend and not want you to get hurt or get in a bad relationship with the other guy your talkin about. Maybe you should confront him and ask if theres anything more then just friendship he's feeling?

Cut and run chickie. He's sounding a bit controlling. That kind of behavior when you are not even dating only escalates. It's like a frog in a pot of warm water. It feels good but then after a while the water gets hotter and hotter till you can't stand it anymore then you realize it's too late and all of a sudden you are boiled alive.

I would confront him and tell him to come clean about he really feels about you. If you two are just friends and he's getting jealous because your ignoring him and talking to other guys, then I think he sees you more than a friend. Tell him to be honest with you and find out what are his true intentions. Because it sounds to me that he may want to be more than just friends. I would tell him the same thing you just told us. He is the only one who can give you any real answers.
