We've been friends for bout 2yrs and we like each other, but he always spents days without calling and I feel as if he's playing with me, but he says that's not what he's doing. I don't want it to seem like I can't get anybody else. But should I get mad that he didn't call becuz were not dating, just friends that like each other.

Umm... he's not your boyfriend!
Why should he have to drop everything in his life to call you?
What if he's busy? Should he have to drop everything to call you? What if (gasp!) he has a date? Do you want him to stop his date and say, "Oh, honey, sorry, I've got to call my friend"?

Maybe he just doesn't like talking on the phone. There are a lot of guys that don't. Just don't call him every day, then you will look desperate. Think about the kind of conversations that you guys have when he does call. Maybe if you had really interesting things to talk about, he would call more often. Dating isn't always about stimulating the body. The mind is very important too.

If you are not dating and he just your friend then he don't have to call you all the time he's not your man and knows it. but don't really want to mess up a good thing. May be get you a date and see how he reacts to it have them come over at the same time if try to spoil your evening then he very will like a lot. If not then you two are nothing more than just two friends

Even if he was your boyfriend, their is no need to get mad, because he has not called ofter 4 or 5 days. Keep being his friend, and when you do hear from him, let him know how good it is to hear from him. You are on the right track, being friend, that can turn into one of the best relationships!

Yes you should get mad, (well maybe not mad but at least tell him off a bit!). Even if you're not going out he should respect you enough to call you when he says he will, otherwise he's not much of a friend.

I used to have simaliar experience, after a guy asked me out once, he waited weeks to make another call, he usually waited a month or more to call me!!! At last we didn't make it.
In your case, I think you better with him to make the first move, he doesn't call you much probably he is busy or he wants to take it slowly.

Tel you what if you want him and want him to want you back, why don't you stop the clingy thing and ask him to be a boyfriend to you and you a girlfriend to him. Depending on his answer you should know what to do.
