a family thinks i am a neg person and also thati should take a crapy car that is the same as i have now and i will have to make payments on whatever i buy this car is a 96 ford aspire and teal with 109,000 miles on it why the hell would i pay for a car that looks just like mine and is the same yr mine and mine no longer runs well also this car they want me to have seems to have had a lot of problems like mine must run in the ford family genes i just dont want to pay for a pice of **** that will stop runnig as soon as i drive it also i hate the way my car looks so i am going to hate that 1 to cuz it looks just like mine a picae of crap.and also i dont think i am a neg person i just have common sense not that they dont just relize how i feel about my car maybe they wolud stop trying to get a car that looks just like mine it even has a dent in it too.i want a car that is under 80,000 miles and is between a 99-2005 that has a sunroof i am picky but if i have to pay i want it to look good

i am almost taped from the car i have now so i am in a trap i just dont want a car that sucks also i want to tell them in a nice way but it is hard to tell them when they keep going on about this thing i hate fords i did not buy the one i have now but i sure wish i had a chocie on the car i wanetd it was a bad gift that i owned sice march this yr and have spent more than 900 on it and they bought it for 1400 but if i fix it now it will cos me 1450 to fix it so whats the point of buying another ford car

well first off your attitude toward your family sucks. they are just trying to help. if they went out of their way to find you a car identical to your old one they probably thought you liked that model.second just tell them what you want. say thank you for finding me another car but i was planning to get something else. tell them what you want in a new vehicle and maybe they can help you find your perfect car. get what you want but be respectful to your family. good luck i hope every thing works out.

This isn't about the car, it is about your relationship and attitude... and possibly your age. How do you tell them? You simply say, "Thank you, I am comfortable with keeping my own car for now and don't want to make a change. Thanks again for offering but I have definitely made a decision."
That, of course, is if you are over 18 and that family member is not actually responsible for you....And yes, you do sound a little angry which might lead one to say that you are behaving negatively (in general).

If you really don't like the car and you are paying for it then tell them why you don't want it basiclly everthing you wrote in this post. Tell them how you feel
