I am looking at a 2007 Honda Ridgeline with Navigation. The price is $35,000+. The money is not an issue, but am I getting a good value for the money?

If you just like the idea of owning a truck and you want the ride quality of a car, than it’s a good choice. However; if you NEED a real truck, than keep looking.

I thought you wanted a truck. If you are looking to tow something or haul a load, buy a truck, not a Honda SUV with a truck bed on it. The Honda Ridgeline is as much a truck as a Hyundai is a luxury car. The Ridgeline is well made, don;t getme wrong, but if you want a truck that is practical, get anything else- Chevy, Ford, Dodge, Toyota, even a Nissan. The "truck" bed of the Honda is impractical for loading and has a small paytload. If you buy the Honda, don't expect to pull the boat to the lake or the load of brick home, but it will look cute in the grocery store parking lot with all the other mommy missile suv s and mini vans.

I guess I'm not the only moron. Two other people on this particular answer would agree if you need a real truck, get a Ford, Dodge or Chevy. By the way, for 40k, you can pull 17000 with me, not 5000. You do the math in your Honda truck.

well, its a better deal then a hummer h2 for about 50k, or a caddy for about 60k. if you want just a good half ton truck like that. that is about the price you'll pay for almost everything loaded, and you can't go wrong with the honda, unless you intend on using it as a truck then i would get a chevy or ford or dodge.
