The main feature I'm looking for in a digital camera (for regular use--nothing too fancy) is the speed in which it actually shoots the picture. I hate getting a great pose from little kids or a great smile and pressing the button and having the shot happen 3 seconds AFTER that great opportunity. Is your camera one of those really quick ones? I'm also not looking to spend over $250, btw.

You are talking about 'Shutter-lag'-which is the time between pressing the Shutter button and the taking of the Shot!

Canon IXUS Range will solve that problem for you!!!
Try Best Buy or Circuit City!

I have a canon cybershot that I bought from Walmart for only $150. The speed of the camera is amazing and the flash doesn't take forever to charge up. Good luck! I used to have a camera like yours and I was always missing good shots. Good luck.

buy fast memory replacement. i believe that's the source of the delay. (at least for the second time you click)
