Just what my mother in law has with my father in law. It is people who are in a "jail" in their mind that only respond and do whatever another person tells them to do, without having their own opinion... ( it makes me want to puke... Yuck...)

More or less like abusing someones mental ability... I guess.
Slavery means that you are forcing someone to do something that they don't want to, so mental slavery is when you force someone to use their mental abilities (intelligence) to do things for you! That is what I think.

I think it's like what happens when you become brainwashed-- it's sort of like what religion does to people's minds, or oppression of any sort. Take my brain, take my money...

apparently it's when something has a hold over you, but not holding you physicaly captive, like jelousy and so forth,anyway that's how it appears to me!
