If you are mismatched...finish the date like an adult...make the best of it, and don't go out with them again.

If it's really bad, just be honest...explain things are not really working out and part ways.

stop looking for the flaws in your date, and enjoy it. Think positive. So what, if you don't match, are you having fun? Does he make you laugh? Can he be serious? Does he listen when you talk? these are things you should look for. Don't worry about you 2 matching, worry about your happiness. Also, by doing what you're doing, you're sabotaging your relationship b4 it has a chance to grow.

Finish dinner, skip dessert, and then take your date home. Don't go out with person again...it would only show more incredibly bad taste on your part.

I have ended it politely before. Just tell them the truth. I am not really feeling it and would prefer that we part as friends. (Ususally the man is happy that he did not spend more money on me.)
