Whenever I'm trying to learn about a topic that I'm not interested in to impress someone, the best place to do it is in today's newspaper. If he's into sports, you can read up on the highlights. If he's into biking, find out what the weather was like in the moutains or trails nearby and ask if he went.
The best thing that you can do is to find an interest that you both enjoy - but this might take some comprimising on your part to open up to new things (in other words, you weren't into hip hop before, but you like this one song. Maybe you'll like others?). Play some of your music around him. Talk about some of your interests.
The worst thing you could do is to forget about yourself in your effort to try and impress and please him. He may not notice this about you specifically, but he won't find you nearly as interesting. You would just be letting both of you down.
I hope this helps! Good luck!

He thinks good about you know because you are going out with him on a date. Just be yourself. And, if you really want to learn more about sports and things that he like. Try to be open minded. You should ask him: "Who is his favorite football team?" And, ask him "what are some of his favorite artist in hip-hop?" After that, you can do some research just for your knowledge. GOOD LUCK!!

I copied the following from one of "Animated Dogmas" previous questions, which leads me to believe he or she is either bisexual, or just asking stupid questions and wasting our time. After reading a few more questions from the user, I think you will agree with the latter of the two.
" My new girlfreind says she is a genie. Should i go ahead with this relationship?
i am scared she might go back to the lamp some day and then i'll left with alone :-( "

Well, don't try to learn about hip-hop, sports and biking because you will propably by humiliated at some point., if you don't know something about those three perfectly. Just be yourself. It would be silly if you act like someone else and then he wants you. He wouldn't want you, he would want that someone else. Just be you and try not to act silly (I mean, try not to make him understand that you are desperate about him).

It's great to want to "know" about things a boy likes...but don't change who you are to impress anyone...if he is a good guy, he will like you for who you are.
At a young age, sure, it's okay to think you need to like what he likes (if you are at a young age)...but he will like you for who you are...he isn't going on a date with you because he thinks you like biking or sports. Maybe he wants to be around someone who doesn't talk about those things alot.
I know, in my case, when I was younger...anyone who was around me wanted to talk about baseball or football, because that is what I played...but in reality, when I wasn't playing the sport, I didn't want to talk about it. I got enough of it daily, so it was nice to take a break from it.

Just be yourself, don't wear underwear with a small skirt, go and watch a game in his house, hide the remote, and tell him that you are going to pull up the volume, bend in front the TV and ask him where are the controls for the volume....and voila....a good snap shoot for him ........damm

The most important thing you can do is just be yourself. If he doesn't like the way you are for real then it wasn't meant to be.
