I saw in news that US might be sending in reinforcements to Iraq. Will around 3000 soldiers be enough to keep the PM and his govt from being jittery ??
( I think Iraqi PM is nervous about the news that US and the 'inter national ' coalition might pull out some time in the near future )
What do you think??

Only to make him feel better.

The government has very little control of anything within the country. Large parts of the country are completely in control of other parties. The Kurds control the North, where the Iraqi flag is not allowed to fly. The Shi'ites control the South, and the government has no influence there.

The country will be partitioned, it is just a matter of time before we go in that direction. It has already, in large part, happened. The civil war we see now is a battle for the boundaries of that new state.

I sure am glad that we have so many EXPERTS in MILITARY PLANNING AND THE WARFARE ON TERROR. I wonder if any of them contacted our defense department and told them that the military leaders in the pentagon do not know what they are doing. I sure wish they would let the pentagon know what to do and how to win in Iraq. I have noticed that they all come out of the woodwork to criticize, condemn, and complain, AFTER THE DECISION HAS BEEN MADE. Hmmm----that reminds me of a Benjamin Franklin proverb. He said that any fool can criticize, condemn, and complain and most fools do. Do you think he may have had these kind of people in mind?

3000 is not enough... but it is not a question of numbers, but is the will of every Iraqi to end the in-fightings among themselves and seek to live peaceful lives... without seeing the daily blood sheds in Iraq!
