...how serious do you think this is? As I say, I will take her to the vet today after I get home from work. Will you please say a prayer for my poor kitty? I have no children, so I am really attached to her.
Will you say a prayer that my little Cindy will get well? Thank you so much.

Sam, I say this very humbly but urgently: PLEASE do not wait for until you get back from work to take your kitty to the vet. Take her there now or as soon as vet office is open. Two days without food and water is serious for a kitten. Take her to the vet while she still has any strength to fight for her life. Waiting till this afternoon may be too late.

Is she drinking water? If not she could be dehydrated. Not eating is something to worry about but not drinking is a cause for real concern cause cats can dehydrate very quickly. I will say a prayer for you and Cindy. Hopefully, she is just feeling well because of a simple infection and just needs a round of antibiotics.

Two days is the maximum a kitty should go without eating. Do take her to the vet tonight. He may give her fluids as she will be dehydrated from not eating for that length of time.

Good luck and I hope she can be helped and will be safely home with you soon.

There are about 8 million reasons why a cat will stop eating, some not a real problem, some bad. Without more info it is impossible to give you and idea of what might be going on.

Of course I will. I was attatched to my Morris when he got sick since I also have no children. He was my baby boy. He died from cancer in February.
Little Cindy will be in my prayers.
