Can't say I've seen it in shops either, but that's probably because I don't look for it as I make my own jams. I made some cherry jam this year, not much though, the cherries weren't cheap, so I'm keeping for special occasions.

When cherries are in season why not try making your own? Failing that you are sure to be able to find some in the farm market shops along with their other home-made jams.

Cherry Jam is the 'preserve' (excuse pun) of the farm shops these days. Several of our local farm shops sell cherry jam, and other hard to find stuff like quince jelly and damson jam.
Time to trawl the farm shops, they have some amazing stuff that is almost lost in the mists of time.

Obviously there is not much cherry jam because of the lack of popularity. However, I would not mind trying it.

This reminds me of that age old question "Why do they call Orange Jam Marmalade?"

Another one doesn't state where they are from. UK sell in all stores and big gardens centres and farm shops.
