No. The cold water does tighten your vocal cords, so if that's an issue for you specifically, then it is better to drink warm tea or something.
Also, cold water can sometimes lead to stomach cramps, particularly if you're going to excercise right after. (Not overly common, but it can happen.)
But, for most people, these are not concerns, and cold water is fine, and even good for you. Room temp water can make people feel bloated, and even nauseaous.

Yes, if you talk with a nutritionist, he/she will tell you to drink your water at room temperature. When you drink cold water, it tends to tighten your vocal cords. That is why singers never drink cold drinks before performing, they don't want their voices to change. It is also better for your health.

If you have severe heart problems, yes. My grandmother's doctor instructed her NOT to drink ice water due to her heart condition. However, if you are healthy, ice water is best because it helps your body burn calories as your body works to elevate it's temperature.

completely false. In fact if you drink cold H2O you will lose weight. Your body needs to keep it's core temp at 98.6F (roughly) and when you drink cold H2O your body is forced to ramp it's metabolic rate up to keep the temp constant.....hence you burn calories......if you drink 8 glasses of cold H2O a day you could lose as much as 2 lbs in a year.....totally trun....research if you do not believe me.
