My dog is black and I was going to paint her white and leave some of her black showing for her cow costume and I need to make sure that it is safe for her before I do it!!!...If it is not safe, any suggestions on what to use?

Thank you all again!

I didn't buy it yet...I was going to make sure that it is safe...But if it says "non-toxic" does it make it a little more safe for her?..Also does anyone know if it will be hard to clean off of her fur...I don't want to harm her in any way!
Thank you

She's going to try to clean it off of herself. Does the label say it's edible? Maybe it's better to stick with a fabric costume. It would be cute, with a little udder underneath.

I would think that bleaching a black dog would be irritating to his/her skin, plus, bleach can cause breathing problems. So, my thought would be to use a product specifically designed for a dog. This is what I found and they have white and yellow. I don't think I would personally dye my dog. He is brown and a very wonderful brown and I wouldn't want to change that. Just my opinion...

Even it were edible it might not be safe for her skin. I know its only going on her fur, but it might also get on her skin. Go with a material costume just to be on the safe side.
