slammed my two back mollars, set off a toothache in upper molar as a result.any chance it will heal being that it was fine before incident.any remedy to sooth pain and promote healing

i am a dental hygienist. you caused trauma to the pulp of your tooth. Advil or alieve are good choices to soothe your discomfort. If the pain doesnt subside within a few days and you notice a sensitivity to temperature changes, be sure to consult a dentist.

if u have any trauma to ure teeth, ie slamming, you should see the dentist as soon as possible, theres a chance that the nerve will die in the tooth, book that appt now, painkillers prob wont help and if left will result in an abcess

Clove oil is the best home remedy for toothaches. Even dentists use it. I found the information at

Have the dentist do sensitivity test . He/she will be able to determine which tooth is giving you the problem. They will then recomend a course of action.

you should take hot water and but it on something that will become hot when you pour the water on and put it on the hurt tooth i'll tell you it healed mine

Oragel, is good, or put something cold in your mouth to numb it.
