Try Icelandair. They often offer great deals and you can have a stopover in Iceland.

Super 8 Times Square wasn't too bad. For best value, stay in N.J. and take the bus or train to N.Y.

i took a bus through there once,it cost me,cant really remember,i think about 150?
anyway i was going to boston from virginia & it took about 3 days.i had a great time.buses are kind of fun & inexpensive.
