Humans were originally created to live forever. If Adam & Eve hadn't have sinned, humanity would have stayed perfect & so lived forever. (ROMANS 5:12)
Because of this, God created us with the longing to live forever. Death is unacceptable to us (ECCLESIATES 3:11) Think about it - it would be cruel to create us with a longing to go on living but an ability to fulfill this, wouldn't it?
And we know God is a loving God (1 JOHN 4:8)
PSALM 37:11, 29
That is the truth of the scriptures

The Lubavitcher Rebbe would often point out that a basic law of physics (known as the First Law of Thermodynamics) is that no energy is ever "lost" or destroyed; it only assumes another form. If such is the case with physical energy, how much more so a spiritual entity such as the soul, whose existence is not limited by time and space nor any of the other delineators of the physical state. Certainly, the spiritual energy that in the human being is the source of sight and hearing, emotion and intellect, will and consciousness does not cease to exist merely because the physical body has ceased to function; rather, it passes from one form of existence (physical life as expressed and acted via the body) to a higher, exclusively spiritual form of existence.

I dont think i would like to live forever, this life is hard enough as it is. I read in the bible how many men lived to be 800 or so years old. I know they were blessed to be that long, but with all the hurts and pains know that this life brings i sure would not want to live that long.

So far nothing can be done to make the physical body live forever, but many religions and philosophies believe that a 'soul' does live forever.

We can't live forever but we can be resurrected to live again in a new body that won't wear out forever through Christ Jesus! Our soul never dies. It's either eternal life or eternal hell, but you have to make the decision.

No. The human body is organic and so physically cant last forever. It gets worn out, parts of it shut down after so long. Even if you are the healthiest most disease free person in the world time catches up with you. Why would you want to live forever anyway?
Dumb question

Stop this "we can't live forever" crap.
If we live forever, then the will be no point in life. No need to earn money. No need to get food. No need by a house or bathe yourself. No need because why try to express yourself if your just like everyone else, no hostory becasue history is in the now.

We can't change what is.
We can change how we feel about it.
If this life seems to end sometime lets live it to the full and make the world a wonderful place for all of us.
Who knows when we live like that we'll be totally happy.

Yes, we can . . . Spiritually. Jesus said "Whoever lives and believes in Me will never die" (See John 11:25-26). His friend, Lazarus, had died four days earlier. But, only the body of a Christian dies. The body is temporary. It is not the spiritual you...the real you. Believe in Jesus and live forever.
