It means to invite Him into our life and give Him authority to have His way. He is a person and if we want to have a relationship with Him, we must treat Him the same way or better. When we do, God enters our life and then we must be obedient to the Holy Ghost. We learn about God and His ways by reading and obeying the Bible. Then God will manifest unto you and He will let you know what to do and where to go.

Mary has a good answer. It is letting God take control of our lives in a way that pushes out the things that in the long run cause us problems. God didn’t give us the 10 Commandments because He needed rules to live by. He gave them to us to help us live a better life. If we let Him take control our lives get better. It’s just like gravity, it is a natural law whether you believe in God or not.

There is no such thing as giving oneself to God. Why would He want people who are contaminated with sin? We are all sinners. The Bible tells us that God cannot in anyway look upon sin, because He Himself is sinless and pure. The only way to come to God is by ridding oneself of sin. There is only One Way to do that and that is to accept or believe His solution, the Only One that He Himself has provided to enable us to come to Him in a pure and pristine condition that He requires. That solution is God Himself in the Person of Jesus Christ.
Acts 16: 31 says "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. Ephesians 2; 8,9 says "By grace you are saved through faith and that not of yourselves. It is a gift of God, not of works, so no man can boast.
So, it's not a matter of giving yourself, but believing what He has given to us.

It means that you will commit to living a life that pleases God. First, you need to pray something like this:
“Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”
As a way to grow closer to Him, the Bible tells us to follow up on our commitment, such as:
1. Get baptized as commanded by Christ.
2. Tell someone else about your new faith in Christ.
3. Spend time with God each day. It does not have to be a long period of time. Just develop the daily habit of praying to Him and reading His Word. Ask God to increase your faith and your understanding of the Bible.
3. Seek fellowship with other followers of Jesus. Develop a group of believing friends to answer your questions and support you.
4. Find a local church where you can worship God.

Let the Lord guide you and lead you in every road you take. Give your feet to God let him direct where you go. Give your hands to God so that everything you touch will be pleasing to him. Give your mouth to God so that everything you say will be about God. Give your ears to God so that you can hear what the Lord is saying to you. Give your eyes to God so that you can see the goodness and mercy of God. Give your tongue to God so that you can testify how God brought you thru.
So when we give our lives to God, God can use us in a way we never thought he could. Give your heart to God for there he wants to live.

the person who gives them selfs to the god are the persons who live in churches..thei dismissed all the power and richeness for teh god's way...for example a man go to church and wants to choose the god's way..this means he will live in a church together with other men and they start a poor life...their life is full of pray and their like sinless...

It means to give over control of our lives to God. It means we tell God, ok God i can not do things by myself, without you i can do nothing and i need you to help me, i need you to take over my life. telling him that our life is no longer our own but His. Its such a beautiful thing.

its about letting God guide you. if he wonts you to go to india, africa or the uk you will go. I have not been to africa yet but had a few invatations. I will know when (if) God wonts me to Go. I gave my life to him 3 years ago and it has become more and more exciting. trust and obay for theres no other way to be happy in Jesus than to truat and obay. May God bless you.
