I was looking at this website http://www.overstockart.com and they have alot of reproduction paintings of famous artists, but they also have a section for Mediterranean Scenes. I looked at this painting: http://www.overstockart.com/privateharbor.html and I think it is great, but I would like to know the artists. Does anyone know of an artist that paints Mediterranean scenes?

You could go to www.art.com and do a search for mediterranean. Maxfield Parrish did some of mediterranean, but there are many others also. I think what you speak of is the artist, Yuri Lee, or Lee Hazel. They made paintings called "private harbor".

Those kinds of paintings are painted by many Chinese artists that do "piece work". In other words, they could be using a dozen different people who each paint a section (over and over). That's why they could be sold so cheaply and still make a good profit.
