No
Asprin can be given at the following dose
1/4 of a tablet for every 10 pounds of body weight
so a 40 pound dog would take one tablet.
I give my 70 pound dog one tablet and give another half if they seem to need it.
That is a regular 325mg asprin tablet.
No tylenol or ibuprofin they can be toxic.

Why do you think your dog needs ibuprofin? Baby asprin has usually been my protocol...Then again for arthritis my dog was perscribed asprin with Maalox combo. I think ibuprofin is not such a good idea. As always call your vet. Good luck.

I have heard of giving aspirin in low doses. Better yet, why not try glucosamine which is definitely given. It is supposed to reverse the damage on the bones. You don't have to buy it from the vet as you can get it from the drug store. I would still discuss it with the Vet to make sure that it is okay for your particular dog given its breed, condition and age.

Forget the ibuprofin. Stick a pencil in his ear and kick it. The pain will end soon.

While Ibuprofen is not the problem in dogs that it is with cats, both it and Tylenol can cause death due to liver malfunction.
Uncoated baby aspirin is the ONLY "OTC" medication approved for dogs.

You should be able to and like everyone else said a low dose would be safe. My dog was on prednisone and i believe dicyclomine and our vet had us giving her half of a pepcid ac sounds strange but she was fine.

Sure you can and I live in Missouri and my Vet actually reccommended it as treatment when our welch corgi broke his leg. But not the first day after because of the thinning of the blood. We also use it on our horses. He highly reccommends it but not if they are bleeding. Hope this helps.

Check with a vet. It MIGHT be OK but you will have to adjust the dosing. Failure to do so could have the worst possible consequences.
