I have NOTHING! The facility lets me rent the gun, nitrogen, mask, hopper, neck and chest protector. What else do I need to get?

You don't need anything else really. Some old clothes that you don't mind getting covered in dirt, paint and sweat and that's about it. Normally they will provide you with everything you need. Actually one thing you do need is a load of money as although the paintballs don't cost very much you end up using 100s of them.

A Tippman A5 with the cyclone feed thing, an E-trigger if you want full-auto ability, a high-capacity hopper, a harness to carry extra cans of paint for reloads, I'm usually wearing camo cuz I play outside so I don't use neck or chest protectors, you're gonna need a good air tank and a place to get air/nitro (ask them about that), a comfortable pair of shoes you can run in that are light, a good mask, some fog-resistant stuff for the mask, gun cleaning stuff.... and you need to research every aspect of this so you buy everything you need.
Oh and if they allow them, some Grenades from www.specialopspaintball.com are really good to have if you run across some Campers huddled in a bunker XD.
And a bunch of mid-grade paintballs. Don't get cheap ones, but don't get super expensive ones when you aren't really going to benefit from them (let's say you're a sniper never shooting less than 30 yards and maybe shooting 8-10 rounds per game)

To the man that posted after me: an A5 WILL NOT BREAK.
it's very capable of 15+bps
90% of the people that own electos and buy an A5 run marshmallows with the A5 later because it's ergonomix make for much more accurate shooting
I can guarantee you... if you gave a good shooter an electro with a 26BPS ROF and an equal shooter an A5 with a stock (the thing you rest your face on, you probably dont know what that is) and an e-trigger the only thing that will decide the outcome is the tactics used by the players.
The baloon bunkers are for NOOBS that have NO IDEA what to do over an area bigger than my freakin bedroom. The woods are for people that know what a U shaped elimination defence with sniper points 1/4 inward of the boundaries is.
The baloons are for people that know what 'dive behind the snake' means.

If its speedball, wear something baggy, and with good padding. I wouldn't spend too much if its your first time. See if you enjoy it first, then if you like it, gradually buy things. Paintball is an expensive sport if you didn't already know. It sounds like the facility has most everything you need. Just make sure to rent a non-electro gun your first time, cuz nothing is worse than having a gun that won't fire when your out on the field (trust me, personal first time experience). A tippman is probably the best gun for someone playing their first time; very simple, and very reliable. Have fun

Gloves, old clothes or coveralls, nut cup and a hat. Paint balls sting so wear clothing that will give you some protection.

get a pair of coveralls (preferably camo) and wear them over your other clothes, they help protect you from paint, dirt, etc......they help you hide (if you get camo)......and they help pad you so the sting isn't quite so bad.......I would also buy and have a lot of paintballs ahead of time, it is cheaper buying them somewhere else than the paintball range.
