Still colourless

2006-10-25 02:01:14 · answer #1 · answered by Starlight 4 · 0 0

The sky is blue because of the way light shatters when it hits the sky at a certain angle. thats why it changes at sunset cos the angle changes as the earth turn.
the ground is brown cos of pigments.

the air will still be colorless no matter how big it is unless the earch becomes radically deformed due to some cataclismic event and the angle changes. but then we would probably all be dead anyway.

At this point I have to question your intelligence. The sky isn't actually blue like the dirt on the ground is brown. It's an optical illusion of sorts. And it is big enough. Good luck staying in school.

By if the air is big enough...I assume you mean if one particle of air was large enough to see.....problem is I don't think "air" is a thing....it is a comination of things...

and yah...the sky is not blue.

and umm..the ground isn't always brown either, what about grass....rock...white sand...black sand.....again...I don't think the ground is an actual thing...

Oxygen is very pale blue. That is why when you look at objects very far in the distance (mountains for example), they have a light blue hue to them.

Maybe the air already have a color but since we are limited to see only a few colors in the color spectrum, we can't see it.
