Does anyone know any anti-depressants (and better, if it helps anxiety problems, too) that DOES NOT use the serotonin and dopamine?

My body reacts too sensitive to those serotonin and dopamine using medications.

I have asked my docter about this, but it seems he does not know anything other than the above.

If you suggest me one, I will ask for his opinion on that one.

Please help me, and thank you for your kindness.

Both the older TCAs and monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) could be worth looking at. MAOIs are considered a bit of a last resort, though.

Some of the atypical antipsychotics are ant-depressant as well. I'd suggest a trawl through http://www.crazymeds.org or ask on http://www.crazyboards.org
