I have tried to find the problem with auto correct and options, but I can not find the culprit, please help, thanks

I think you've pressed the "Insert" key by mistake and it's overriding your existing words. The key is to the right of the backspace key. Hit that and that should solve your problem.

open a text window and hit the Insert button located to your right of the Enter key.

go into tools, options, and click on the edit tab. take the tick out of the overtype mode box and it should stop doing it. I had it happen to me as well and its been fine since doing that . Hope this helps!!

when that happens place the curser where you want it, then hit "insert" and start typing, that should fix your problem, if not....email me back.
