Yes, this is bad; it means that he's spoiled and takes you for granted, knowing that you're a reliable sex partner and probably that you take better care of him than he does of you..
Deal with him as you wish.

It may not be. It depends on the type of person he is. I have plenty of guy friends that do the same thing and their girlfriends and wife's ask me about this because I don't talk to much around them but I talk a lot around girls. My wife had to learn to adjust to me being more comfortable around girls he may just be the opposite of me. He may have gotten comfortable but most likely not.
