Ive recentley been completely annoyed with Windows as my system keeps crashing ect. and its been "fixed" so many times its costing me a fortune. So I formatted the hardrive and have tried loading MEPIS which is a Linux operating system, but i cant seem to get it to install. Sometimes it will get quite far, other times it won't even get into login. Anybody else having the same problems? Or anybody finding it really good?

dun no about MEPIS linux but i have this Red Hat Linux. and this is quite like windows,somewhat same. only thing its virtually free,u can pass on the same cd u installed with to another person and he can install it on his computer legallly. its also very popular for being bug or virus free.
