No. I think education is a better solution. Every child in school should be required to take a nutrition course before graduation. It should be taught be a registered dietician or chef. Back in the good 'ol days, home-economics teachers taught this, but the days of home-ec being required are long gone thanks to political correctness.

No, it is not nessecary.
We are sliding ever further into this culture of non-responsibility and brainlessness.
I do not need a warning label to tell me a Big Mac is NOT health food, nor does anyone else. We all know that a diet of donuts and coca cola will make you unhealthy. And, we can all tell the difference between processed junk food and a healthy garden fresh meal.
Instead of wasting money on needless warning labels that will accomplish nothing, how about we start holding people to reasonable standards of common sense?

Foods already have a warning label, its really a pretty good label because it doesn't just warn you about the fat, but breaks the fat into separate categories for saturated and unsaturated. It also gives you the total calorie content, and the nutritional value. For most folks it not just the fat content, its the total calories.

I think the Nutrition Facts which are already required = a warning label. However I do believe that telling people that their body needs 2000 calories a day is absolutely insane... No wonder there are so many obese people and children in the world.

I don't think there needs to be a warning label when the ingredients are already listed on the package, and the people know they are not about to eat a piece of fruit or a veggie. People just need to choose wisely.

Just about everything you eat is hazardous,if you do it in excess, ever the so called healthy foods, like fruits and veggies. Eat everything in moderation, is what an old wise doctor told me, and this advice stuck with me.
