Here was my hangover cure in college. Nothing magic, but it helped:

-1 bottle gatorade- 32 oz and drink as quickly as possible (electolytes and clense system)
-2 multi vitamins (these replace the minerals you lost from drinking, it helps)
-2 or 3 Aleve (depending on size, and assuming you can take them. If not, try one of the others, just not tylenol or asprin)
-Caffine (energy drink or coffee- it helps speed up the system, which has always seemed to help for me)
-Greasy breakfast (McDonalds, Waffle House, etc. This is for if your stomache is upset. The grease helps settle it a bit, and the starchy food helps absorb some of the stuff in your stomache)

A hangover is a combination of loss of vitamins/minerals/electrolytes, withdrawl from the alcohol, too much sugar in your blood that you are coming down from (alcohol is converted to sugar... a good bender that is a lot). Since you cannot take more alcohol because you are going to work, these above should help as much as possible. If that does not work, it is a tough one only sleep will cure.

Hope the hangover went away by now. But for future reference, drink lots of water, not coffee, and not "the hair of the dog"
Alcohol dehydrates your body so the body pulls the moisture it needs which mainly comes from your head resulting in the bad headache. As you replenish with water or a sports drink such as Gatorade, the headache will start to go away. Also take a couple of asprin, tylenol etc.
Next time you go out drinking, remember to drink a couple of glassfulls of water before bed, and that should help out in the morning.

The reason you are hungover is that you are dehydrated. Alcohol dehydrates the body and the reaction of your brain is your hangover. To prevent it in the future drink 2-3 8 oz glasses of water before you sleep.
For now drink plenty of water and take meds (Ibuprofen works well (Advil))

May I suggest two excedrin migraine, and a beverage with a high caffeine level. When I was in the hospital for a spinal headache (which is due to punturing in the spinal area) the nurse gave me an IV with saline, caffeine and morphine. I asked her why she gave me caffeine and she told me it accelerates the pain medication.
My husband usually drinks a big glass of water and takes 2 aspirin before he goes to bed, after a night of drinking. Hope you feel better.

I found that drinking a bit of V8 Juice and Gaterade helps and here's why. V8 has plenty of anti-oxidants that purfies your body from most toxans and plenty of Vitamins A and C with Iron and Calcium. Gaterade on the other hand has plenty of electrolytes that stimluate and hydrate your body making you feel better and not so lazy and dry inside, but neither of these will get rid of that huge head ache, I'm still working on that.

Drink an 8 ounce glass of water for every ounce (shot) of alcohal you consume through out the night. Have another before you go to sleep. The nauseous feelings are caused by dehydration.

power ade, gatorade, will help you replace your electrolytes. If you are
close to McDonalds you can get a fillet of fish meal with coke. I don't know
why but this works too. You may be allergic to whatever alcohol you ingested.
Gravol will help with this as it was originally a allergy medicine.

Drink lots and lots of water. When you have a hangover your body is dehydrated so the sensible solution is to drink water.
