I am muslim. I AM THE QUEEN OF THIS CASTLE. Why my husband loves me cares for me and gives me anything I need. He takes good care of me and our son in the good and the bad. I have been sick for three days he did not even go to work and he cared for me. Got food, took me to the doctor and just this morning went back to work because I felt better!
I tell my husband every day how lucky I feel to be his wife and he tells me how lucky he is to have me as his wife!
At my inlaws house I am taken care of hand and foot! They do everything to make me comfortable. At my sister's inlaws house all of them they do everything possible to make me feel at home!!!
I love all of them like blood family! Allah has truly blessed me!

Yes, your absolutely right. I have always been treated right by everyone in my family and even many of my husband's friends, Muslim or not. My husband is very fragile with me, and never even raises his voice, so I have no idea why people think I'm "opressed" just because I cover my face. It has nothing to do with him, I wanted to do it, so I did it. If anything, I think women in Islam have more self-respect than non-muslims who go out half dressed. Any woman who sees her body as a "temple" has enough confidence not to have to show it off to the world to feel good about herself.

I live in Europe and I'm agnostic/atheist. I have a man who treat with me like a queen. He do all so called women work (half of them): we cook together, we clean house together...
We do everything together, but our finance are separate (I'm independent and I buy things that I can afford). We go to the cinema, to diner, to theater...together.
In our country women are protected by the law and they can prosecute man who treat her bad. It is true, there are man who rape, beat and there are some women who don't feel this is something wrong, because her mother was traeted bad as well.
Anyway, there are bad man and good man, just like in your country.

Maybe because the Christian and Jews want to take the heat off of themselves and point to someone else. America is full of hypocrites! Especially the government and military. They are the opposite of who they claim to be and do exactly the opposite of what they say they will.

I know any form of religion beats there wife its called domestic violence its in any middle age man who has stress.
What i dont get in muslim countries like iran,saudia arabia is that why are the women forced to cover there face while the men can walk freely.

perhaps the reason you don't hear it from Christian/Jews is because it doesn't happen quite so often as with Islam. Let's face it...Islam receives bad publicity because it is BAD...people are afraid to say it, because they might be attacked...which says it all.
Look what happened with the pope, he made one comment (Which was a piece of writing not his personal opinion) about the violence of Muslims, and what do they do??? Burn down churches. Islam is a violent religion, NOT of the one true God.
