Probably! Physical attraction is what catches your eye first! It is just human nature! But, just because the physical attraction is there doesn't mean you'll be attracted mentally!

Eye candy is nice until you find out they don't have a brain in their head, or are cocky, or have a small package (men okay). However I think a lot goes into personality whether you think so or not. If you can't get along with someone, or they just plain have a bad attitude, it would be hard to fall in love with them no matter how pretty they are on the outside.

I think that you fall in love with someone for there heart and soul and the person that they are, I don't believe that you fall in love with someone because of there looks.
You could have lust, or fancy as far as looks are concerned but falling in love with someone takes time and the person.

i don't think so. i know it sounds a bit cheesy but i really do believe its all about personality, true its probably the looks that pull you in a first but then when you get to know someone that's when it happens. you could be going out with the best looking person in the world but if they have a crap personality or are just plain horrible then they don't seem to be as attractive. works the other way round as well, go out with someone not very attractive and if they are a nice person they seem to get better looking

It depends how shallow you are.
If you love people by thier looks---SHALLOW AS A PUDDLE
If you love them for thier personality---Shallow as the middle of an ocean!
That goes for friends too.
Then again---some people you just can't stand because they have an okay personality but they are butt ugly...there are exeptions don't get me wrong but hey lets say if it was a girl and she had like....this full grown mustache and moles everywhere and- well maybe i'm over-exagerating but you get my point.
oh almost forgot---looks can help alot cause that's what lures you in.......then you start to like (or dislike) them for their personality. I really liked this guy cause i thought he was really hot so i got to know him more...turns out he isn't GREAT (great as in bf-worthy...not really my type) but hey I made a friend!

Yes it is I am guilty for that.See i had a b/f but i was not in love with him he's not that good looking and i was not happy with him b/c out relationship was bore, i meet this boy a work looks and every thing good going for him but he had pretty looks and bad character

it's easier to fall in lust with someone who is pretty, from there to falling in love is a bit more complicated.

i met my partener 15 yrs ago he was married so was i both got divorced and fell in love he is nothin i would usualy go for looks wise but he is the most beautiful person on the inside looks r skin deep what is beneath the exterior is what counts x

I believe one should like and appreciate what he sees before he goes further.
This could mean infatuation.. but whatever it is ..I eat with my eyes first before my mouth.
You should have an idea of what you want in love, you must see what attracts you before going to love it or not...

maybe....but we end to find partners that are agreeable to us in personality and similar level or attractiveness in the end. I once fancied a buy at school who was really good looking, only to get totally fed up with him when we went out, he was soooo boring!
