a draft tube is the part of fabric that's sewn onto a sleeping bag to cover the zipper.. the reason behind this is that it add extra protection and warmth from any cold air seeping thru the zipper holes...

most higher end sleeping bags like keltys and north faces have this feature.. and unsure if you can buy a draft tube for a sleeping bag..

it definately helps keep the air out from the zipper. getting a bag with one is highly recommended :-D
