Nope. Luke did some detective work and investigated the life of Christ and the events of the early church for Luke & Acts. Paul's letters were written for him for circulation to the churches at that time. Same goes for the other letters. John's gospel was eyewitness testimony.

get a copy of 'why trust the bible' by amy orr-ewing, she went to a posh university and is very intelligent and it's a great book

History literally means HIS STORY. Then decades later, some other chap comes along and tells us what he was really saying, but in HIS words!!!
