Why aren't the unemployed scum forced to work instead of allowing in immigrants from Eastern Europe?

My sentiments exactly! whilst there is one indigenous person (whatever colour or creed) is out of work, there should be no immigration at all.

If they don't work, they don't eat. Use the dole money that they scrounge to give pensioners a better life.

Because the immigrants that are coming into our country now are mostly skilled and/or well educated young people who are actually improving our economy by taking on jobs that the unemployed "scum" turn their noses up at! They're bettering their own lives by making more money here than they ever would at home and bettering our country by paying taxes and national insurance for benefits they don't intend to be here to use when the time comes. I'd rather have someone who knows what they're doing in a job and appreciates what they've got than a lazy slob who's only there because they've been forced to work. So what if they're from Eastern Europe?

Get your facts right before you go off on one. Not everyone who is un-employed is "idle scum", not "idol". Some people are'nt able to work because of disablements, kids, or simply because they can't find work that pays enough to cover their rent and bills. Very few immigrants are allowed to work here until they get their papers sorted,which could take years. I agree that we have taken in too many immigrants, but your way of trying to get a point across is just showing you up to be ignorant. Bring the "thumbs down" on...I know they're coming and don't give a flying s***...SMITHYPET...if you don't like the answers, don't post the questions, and don't send pathetic emails

I lost my job because the agency I worked for can employ Polish/albanian/Iraqi/Afghan workers for half the price.

I'm now without employment and have to support a family. I can't find any work and I'm activly looking most days.

I'm ex forces and at one point this 'idle scum' was willing to fight for and die for our (this includes you) country.

Tell you what - you come to me with offers of a job and this 'idle scum' will accept. Untill you are in a position to do so, shut your gob.

But, if you want to be a nobjocky, two can play at that game..... I suggest you put in some over time at work and pay more tax so I can apply for a social loan and buy myself a new PS3 and a HDTV so I can watch Trisha in comfort, with my chav kids.

a kind of good idea, but what would you have them doing? People should be encouraged to work rather than take handouts, however, bear this in mind. The scumbags you are referring too (I'm assuming now) lack skills, training and an ethos of hard work. A Polish or Czech carpenter for instance will do a fantastic job and work for less than his UK competitor.

Rather than stop people coming into the UK, we should have an efficient method of registering economic migrants who choose to come and work. They would then pay tax and NI and contribute to the economy.

its a little obivious the fat cats pay crap wages,who wants to work nights say,for 5.50 an hour do you? some really need to im sure a lot do,but wait a minute fat cats struggling to fill his factory because not enough do.......so he thinks well i will fill my factory entirely with romanians they will be happy to work 12 hours a night an work hard,they come here for a reason you know to earn a wage an go home!!! so he does he drives wages down in the workplace,gives the wages to romanians who have no intention of staying here and well he's making good money,so think what has he done???

jap Europe is extremely the land of chance. With their low perplexing artwork cost yet experienced and knowledgeable artwork stress, they are going to quickly develop into burgeoning economies.
