Hi, i have a Thailand map right infront of me,but cannot find this place called "Krabi", where is it located and what is it famous about.
Would be great to hear from someone who lives/has lived/visited Krabi.

Krabi is one of province in the Southern part of Thailand. The hot spot for Krabi is Ao-nang, Koh Lanta and Phi Phi Island is also the part of Krabi province but the tourist will know that it's the part of Phuket only.

Hi, look for Phuket and Krabi is a district just to its south east. Place is known for its dive spots, island and beach resorts, though not as well-known as the ones in Phuket. So it is quieter, being away from the usual tourist route. Probably the best known place is Phi Phi Island or Ko Phi Phi.
Can be reached by bost from Phuket or a drive away.
