Hi,

Suggesting to a Cop, quite a dangerous action to do :)

Anyways, as you are a cop i would understand that you do exercise regularly. And when it comes to food, all i can suggest to you is very simple basic things which all of us know but we do ignore them.

A diet should contain fats and carbs, but not too much of it. Be sure you are aware of the calorie intake and the approx calories you use a day. Try to keep a proper balance between intake and usage of calories, this will help your body to function more effectively.

Also increase intake of proteins as we all know proteins are the helpers in muscle building and being a cop i would understand that you need to keep fit and strong, so protein diet will help you a lot in building strong muscles with the help of your daily exercise regime.

Muscle building does not mean you put on fat, so do try to understand the difference between putting on fat and putting on muscle. Even a lean muscle is good if you can tone it stringer and make it rock hard.

Your source of vitamins fibres and hydration would come from Salads. So make sure your salad has varities of colours as that will provide you with different vitamins and minerals.

And stop or minimize junk foods.

All the best.

Well, then you MUST know the healthy way to lose weight. Are you exercising 40 mins 4 times per week (aerobic)? Are you staying away from processed foods? Good fuel in is the only way; cut down on the sweets, fried foods, maybe milk instead of cream in coffee and sweetener instead of sugar. Load up on protein, veggies, fruit and don't eat too many potatoes, rice or bread unless it is whole wheat. Won't have the jitters if you eat small amounts all day. Eating well does not have to mean hungry. Great low cal snacks are jello, low fat puddings, low fat cheese, grapes, air popped popcorn etc etc. which you can snack on throughout the day between your healthy meals and fit in a baggie. Come on...you already know what you have to do...you just must do it!

You might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout to use as well. No caffeine/ephedra diet pills necessary, so no worries on the jitters.

I am an amateur boxer and at training have seen many men and women lose a considerable weight from boxing training. Not your boxercise but real boxing. You will learn technique aswell as gain some self confidence, it is not boring but with slow steps you will get there.
