from what ive heard you are partially right , but i heard that it doesnt result in any net calorie loss ,as yes you will burn some calories,but your body warms itself by producing more fat cells,so it is a negative sum situation

no it is not, you should drink hot water if you want burnt calories, hot water kills the grease and the fat.
