I could easily say it me, what I believe is right however that would prove your question right but not answer it
a lot of time scripture is taken out of context and if some would read the next few verses they would find what they just said is not what the Bible says. Whatever is answered if here is even by a preacher it is up too everyone who asked to look for themselves in the Bible to see if that is accurate.
And If they are still not sure pray God is good to revel the truth to those that ask.
He has to me many times

Concerning God's Word, Jesus said at John 17:17: "Your word is truth." So if our thoughts go contrary to the Scriptures, we do not have the truth. For example, if you asked some people who God is, many would say he is Jesus, right? Does the Bible support that? No. When announcing Jesus' coming birth to Mary, Gabriel told her that the child would be called "son of the Most High." See Luke 1:32.That could not have been said any more plain. But those who believe Jesus is God will completely ignore that statement and will jump to another Bible verse to prove their belief that he is God.
Some people think the Bible supports the belief in the immortality of the human soul, although the Bible CLEARLY says that the soul CAN die. See Eze. 18:4, 20.
There is only one truth, but most people don't have it.

However you interpret the bible, somebody has misinterpreted it long beofre it reached you, it is not a fit moral guide for anyone, just try reading the monstrous things and the way one should behave if you were to take it literally and if you don't take it literally you have to interpret it somehow, this is usually quite arbitrary... so it is morality riding on the seat of the pants just like an atheists in the end only the atheist is more honest about it and undoubtedly more moral.

People try to answer questions to the best of their ability and their understanding, that is why you get so many different answers. Some are well seasoned in scripture and others are just in the beginning or early stages of learning. The best way to get the right answer is to study the scriptures.
Some also depends on what version of the Bible they are using.
If you want some interesting answers do a web search on fulfilled Bible prophecy that were fulfilled with 100% accuracy, it is a interesting study.

I look to my conscience. Humans are flawed, and humans put down words in the Bible, which means it may well not be perfect. Jesus corrected the mistakes from the Old Testament, but there are no corrections for the New Testament, yet. Still, I know that the conscience is where God speaks to people, and it's far more important than any book, even the Bible.

The Holy Ghost is the interpreter of the Holy Scriptures and No man.The Scriptures are to be Believed by Faith not interpreted by fallible mankind.
2 Peter 1:20 - Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
Please Study to show yourself approved.
"study " was found 2 times in 2 verses in the New Testament.
1 Thessalonians 4:11 - And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
2 Timothy 2:15 - Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

From what I can tell, when a question gets ten people give ten different interpretations of the same passage, that means eleven people are talking about the Bible none of them have actually read.

The Bible has some truth in it, the best thing to do is read it and take only what you understand, leave the rest for the false prophets to fight over. Only totally surrender to the living God himself, never an object.

The only person who is right is the person who knows that the Bible and all it's passages, chapters, and verses are nonsense.
