Where in the bible does it discuss adultery and how wrong it is? Matthew?

O.k. I'm not saying that I'm going to have an afair, I just want to know where in the bible it talks about adultery.I know it's wrong.

O.k. Once again I am not saying I want to have an affair,I am asking where in teh bible it talks about adultery. My father committed adultery and I want him to read what it says in the bible about it! I am not looking for advice, I am looking for a verse! Ex: Matthew 5:28

Exodus 20:14
"You shall not commit adultery.

-And in the Old Testament the penalty was death! Of course today, we are under God's grace so we arent put to death, but it is still a sin against God- which someday you will be judged for:
Leviticus 20:10
" 'If a man commits adultery with another man's wife—with the wife of his neighbor—both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death.

Deuteronomy 5:18
"You shall not commit adultery.

Matthew 5:27
[ Adultery ] "You have heard that it was said, 'Do not commit adultery.'

Matthew 5:28
But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

Matthew 5:32
But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, causes her to become an adulteress, and anyone who marries the divorced woman commits adultery.

Matthew 15:19
For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.

I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, and marries another woman commits adultery."

Matthew 19:19
Jesus replied, " 'Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother,' and 'love your neighbor as yourself.' "

There are many more than this....It is very clear that adultery is wrong in the eyes of God.

Oh its in there everywhere, I will give you some scriptures, BUT If adultery was an excuse for divorce, then, that would be like giving people a reason to committ adultery, the Bible says the only way one can remarry,after divorce, is fornication, and that is sex before your married, so if you told your spouse to be, you were a virgin, and wasen`t, then he has grounds for divorce and remarriage..heres the scriptures.Exodus 20:14...Proverbs7:6-23...Jeremiah3:9..Matthew 5:27-28.Matthew 19:9

GREAT MYSTERY!
Sex is not just a physical act. It is a spiritual act as well.
We are helping our Creator to create LIFE!
Sex creates very real spiritual energies, and a spiritual bond.
When this is corrupted. It creates things we little understand.
But will have to be atoned for at a later time.

Hi, Definetly NOT. May be some sort of CORRUPT translation in the form of different language. This is due to the handy work of Satan/Jinn/Devil and also human nature to follow their own desires rather than following the simple message of all the prophets that is to believe in ONLY ONE GOD in order to achieve the PURPOSE OF LIFE.
Man or science and technology in their own limitations can’t answer this things/believes/struggle. Only thing left for the mankind is to find out from the ONLY ONE CREATOR that created everything that exists.
The thing is people don’t know what to follow. They follow something that haven’t said by prophets including Jesus (peace be upon him PBUH) himself. The solution to this is to do a research and find out the AUTHENCITY of the source or the books. It is not at all difficult in today’s world.

In Short: The ONLY PURE ORIGINAL WORD OF GOD is left on the phase of the planet is the HOLY QURAN that came with the prophet 1400 years ago without any SINGLE LETTER corrupted, that Guides, Faith with Proof, shows way of life, tells in details the mission of prophets including Jesus (peace be upon him PBUH), gives answers to all questions, solutions and tells much in details of what will be going to happen (past, present and future) and the purpose of existence, etc. The WORD OF GOD came with the SAME MESSAGE through prophets (from first prophet Adam to last prophet Mohammad (PBU them all) including Jesus (PBUH) and only person to interpret is the prophet of GOD at that time. Unlike HOLY QURAN all the other Books are corrupted and are not in the PURE ORIGINAL WORD OF GOD that’s is due to the handy work of Satan/Jinn/Devil and also human nature to follow their own desires rather than following the simple message of all the prophets that is to believe in ONLY ONE GOD in order to achieve the PURPOSE OF LIFE.
